Nancy Ellen Staley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2026, at the age of 56, Nancy Ellen Staley of Markleville, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Stewart and Charlotte Stewart; her siblings, Brenda Shanafelt and Larry Robert Stewart; and her father-in-law Harold Staley.
She is survived by: her husband Kirk Staley; her daughters, Kaelyn Staley-Nevins (Jacob), Princess and Ali DeGies (Samuel); her siblings-in-law, Dave Shanafelt, Kenneth Staley (Lisa), Todd Staley and Marla Staley; her mother-in-law Carolyn Staley; and her pets, Matilda, Molly and Cynder. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Highland Middle School (2108 E 200 N, Anderson, IN 46012-9475). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (15176 Blessed Mother Blvd, Fishers, IN 46037).
