Steven Allen Thompson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Steven Allen Thompson (Marshall, Indiana). Steven, born on January 5, 1948, passed away on July 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Thompson and Norma Jean Thompson; and his brother Randall Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Diane Taylor; his children, Jeff Thompson (Melissa) of Noblesville, Indiana and Julie Bennett (Nathan) of Marshall, Illinois; his grandchildren, Trevor Howald (Taylor) of Marshall, Emily Thompson of Indianapolis, Margaret, Andrew and Anne Thompson of Noblesville, Indiana; his great grandchild Archie Allen; and his siblings, Gary Thompson (Tracey) of Marshall, Illinois and Joyce Setzer (David) of Marshall, Illinois.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Milkmaids or the Marshall First Christian Church Youth Ministry or simply tip your favorite bartender a little extra in his memory.
