With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bert Astleford of Martinsville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lile Densmore and Regina Louise Astleford (Brown); his former wife Thieanna Astleford (Massey); and his brother Dan Astleford. He is survived by: his wife Annie L. Astleford (Powell); his sons, James Astleford (Trish) of Sandborn, Terry Astleford (Lois) of Linton, Bret Astleford (Mary Ann) of San Antonio, TX and Bert Astleford (Valerie) of Crawfordsville; his stepchildren, Jon Bower of New York, Fred Bower (Cindy) of Martinsville, Peggy Lester (Tim) of Evansville, Susan Perry (Doug) of Martinsville, Cathy Finley of Martinsville and Andrea Newberry of Washington; his sister Mable Denniston of Hastings, MI; his sister-in-law Cathy Astleford of Michigan; and his former wife Nancy Astleford (Snyder). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
