He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Robinson and Mary Robinson (McCammack); his spouse Shirley Faye Robinson (Mundy); his siblings, Fredrick, Robert, James Pete Robinson, Mildred Fishel and Jenny Robinson; his grandson Andrew Gray; and his son-in-law Craig Meaney.

He is survived by: his children, Philip Robinson (Kimmi), Shelly Stephey (Robbie) and Kelly Meaney of Martinsville; his brother Jon J. "Jay" Robinson (Charlotte) of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Eric Meaney, Josh Stephey, Ashley Meaney, Chad Stephey, Kylie Owen and Justin Hacker Robinson. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
