He is survived by: his mother Doris Ann Nerding (Michel) of Martinsville, Indiana; his brothers, Erich Michel of Mooresville and Fritz Nerding (Susan) of Brown County, Indiana; his aunt Joan Graham; and his cousins, Christina Seiler, Kenny Graham, Randy Christie and Sean Christie. He is also survived by two nieces; five nephews; one great-niece; six great-nephews.
