He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh Rutledge and Betty Jo Rutledge; his grandparents, Hallie and Raymond Lowder; and his former life partner Deborah Sue Williams (Debbie).
He is survived by : his children, Christopher K. Rutledge and Elisabeth Anne Rutledge Gee (Robert Gee); his wife Teresa Sue "Terry" MacPherson Rutledge; his grandchildren, Micah, Liam Dismore and Cameron Gee; and his siblings, Shelley Harwell, Lorie Yeftich, Diane Tedder and Eric Lucas.
The Rutledge family has requested that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center or The Stem Connection in Indianapolis, c/o Neal & Summers, 110 E. Poston Rd., Martinsville, IN 46151.
