She is survived by: her husband Patrick William Schmidt; her son Michael Garrett (Steffany) of Martinsville, Indiana; her stepdaughters, Melissa Bell (Doug) of Gosport and Michelle Ulrich of French Lick, Indiana; and her siblings, Dewey Pitman (Joyce) of Creve Coeur, Illinois and Patsy Pitman of Weeki Wachee, Florida.
