It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Haggard of Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Halick and Mary Edna Haggard (Sluder); his son Randy Haggard; and his son-in-law Brian Gaul. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Shelly Niles, Tonna Haggard, Malissa Gaul and Jeremy Haggard; and his brother Thomas Haggard (Linda). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eastview Christian Church (2745 Old Morgantown Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Salem Methodist Church Cemetery (6701 S 775 E, Zionsville, IN 46077).
