She was predeceased by: her mother Evelyn Chaney (Jameson); her husband James B. Shepherd; her father Wilbur; her sister Sharon Christian; and her son-in-law Dennis Roberson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lorricia Silcox (Daniel) and Lorinda Roberson; her grandchildren, Ryan Tumey, Eric Tumey and Meghan Raines; and her siblings, Jay Jackson, Marilyn Ham, Sheila Manley, Melva Owens and Susan Latham. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costin Funeral Chapel (539 E Washington St, Martinsville, IN 46151). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
