With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Burt of Martinsville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred C. Schell, Jr. and Joy Evelyn Schell (Phillips); and her siblings, Phillip Schell, Melvin Schell, Dolores Day, Carol Maxwell and Virginia Lawrence.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Jason Burt (Lana) and Jennifer McClellan (Jim); her siblings, David Schell, Rita Laymon, Karen Randolph and Barb Moore; her grandchildren, Jayme Walton (Ian), Jayde Black (Jantzen), Justin McClellan (Abby), Taylor Burt, Clarissa Burt and LaNae McCormick; and her great grandchildren, Poppy, Jazzabelle, Manuel, Matthias, Elliotte, West and Knox.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Martinsville First Church of the Nazarene (1609 John R Wooden Dr, Martinsville, IN 46151). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
