Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mark leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard Schiefer and Hildegard Bacon (Hurm). He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Manard (Blake) of Arvada, Colorado; and his siblings, Eric Schiefer (Diana) of Martinsville, Karl Schiefer (Dawn) of Bloomington, Indiana, Cindy Cody (Dennis Gerwatowski) of Martinsville and Lynne Garrett of San Antonia. He is also survived by thirty-three nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 5270 Low Gap Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151.
