He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gruell and Marcella Gruell (Purcell); his son Glenn Gruell; and his brothers, Greg and Monte Gruell.
He is survived by: his wife LeeAnn Dunnington; his son Joel Gruell of Colorado; his brother Brad Gruell (Barb) of Greenfield, Indiana; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Downs (Cambree), Andrew Gruell, Jordan Gruell and Jayden Gruell; and his great grandchildren, Aubree and Olivia Gruell.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM.
