He is survived by: his father Edward Lee Pettit of Martinsville; his wife Brandy Jean Pettit (Collins) of Martinsville; his children, Zachary, Elijah Pettit of Martinsville, Sophia Pettit of Speedway, Allison Pettit of Martinsville and Karley Freese of Martinsville; his sister Missy Pettit (Jamie Summers) of Martinsville; his half-sister Carmen Bennett of Tennessee; his father-in-law Don Collins of Paragon; his brother-in-law Donnie Collins (April Collins) of Paragon, Indiana; and his nieces and nephews, Luke Akard, Tyler Summers, Samantha Johnson (R. J.), Emma Suter (Kaden), Taylor, Wyatt Collins and Kylee Metcalf.
