He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Meade and Rena Meade; and his son Phillip Meade. He is survived by: his wife Jerry K. Meade; his children, Joshua Meade (Hiroko), Patricia Meade, Randall Meade, Zachary Meade (Paige), Jessica Youngren (Allen), Monica Childers (Brad) and Brandon Reynolds; and his siblings, Talmadge "Jack" Meade, Robert "Bill" Meade, Rondall Meade (Sharon), Peggy Player (Trellis), Louis Ison, Cassie Gibson, Nell Fields and Judy Sumpter (Don). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
