She is survived by: her close friend John Rhoads; her children, Phillip McCord (Trista Walton), Melissa Shaw, Maya McCord (Logan Newton) and Elliana McCord; and her siblings, Joan Evans, Vickie Holloway, Loretta Carpenter, Melvin Heeter and Ronald Heeter. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and7 greatgrandchildren.
