She is survived by: her husband Ajoy Basu; her children, Dahlia McDaniel (Steve), Sanjoy Basu and Sanjiv Basu (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Cynthia Basu, Chavez, Michael McDaniel, Jessica McDaniel, Mia McDaniel, Logan Basu and Avery Basu; and her siblings, Jeronimo Garza and Genevieve Fagan.
