She was predeceased by: her father Nicolas Dominguez; her husband Severo F. Bustos; and her brothers, Nicolas Dominguez, Jr. (Christina) and Modesto Dominguez. She is survived by: her mother Esperanza Dominguez; her sons, Roberto D. Bustos of Merrillville, IN and Ricardo D. Bustos (Theresa) of Valparaiso, IN.; her siblings, Daniel Dominguez of Harlingen, TX, Olga Rodriguez (Joe) of Houston, TX and Elisa Abrego (Henry) of Harlingen, TX; her sister-in-law Valeria Dominguez; her grandchildren, Ricardo F. Bustos, Isabel B. Bustos, Antonio N. Bustos and Vanessa Bustos; and her great grandchild Amya Bustos.

The family insists that people make donations in support of their charity of choice in lieu of sending flowers.
