He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannette Romischer; his daughter Christine Romischer; and his siblings, Edward Romischer, Regina Marko, Matilda Ruzzini, Margaret Freed and Rudy Romischer.

He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Viollt (late Ken); his grandchildren, Rebecca Fillion and Jeffrey Viollt; and his great grandchildren, Sean, Bryan and Nicholas Johnson. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
