With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary L. Carter of Merrillville, Indiana, born in Fredericktown, Missouri, who passed away on February 27, 2023 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary L. Carter to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her son Gary Long (Patty); her siblings, John, Vernon, Ruben, Lee Lunsford, Dorothy Page, Maxine Chaklos and Norma Poser; and her parents, Ruben Lunsford and Zola Lunsford (Kemp).
She is survived by: her husband Charles G. Carter; her children, James Long (Barbara) and Ramona Noble Mitchell (Kerry); her grandchildren, Tamra, Allison, Matthew, Alexander Long, Winona Noble Abuan (Ron) and Gerald Noble (Evelyn); and her sibling Jean Oye (late Harold).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer Foundation, would be appreciated.
