It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike S. Mucha of Merrillville, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Mucha and Mary Mucha; and his brothers, John Mucha and Andrew Mucha (Barbara). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Mucha; and his children, Pam Mucha Dowd of Clermont, FL and Michael Mucha (Susan) of Lowell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Face masks required.

Mike's family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Mike's name to the athletics program at Andrean High School in Merrillville, where his children were involved in sports (andreanhs.org); or to the women's softball program at Valparaiso University, where his daughter played (valpo.edu).
