With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard D. Boer (Merrillville, Indiana), born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on January 15, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward, Sr. and Gazella; his wife Vivian Sebben; his daughters, Janice Titus (James) of St. Louis, Missouri, Susan Vanes (Thomas) of Lake Village and Joyce Horstmeyer (Gregg) of Lapel; his grandchildren, Kevin Titus, Kathryn Vanes Soltas and Philip Horstmeyer; and his brother Edward, Jr. of Merrillville.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Best Friends Animal Society, a non-profit nationwide animal rescue organization. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home to donate for masses in Rich's name.
