We announce the death of Robert E. Frazier of Merrillville, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlene Patton (Ray) and John Frazier; and his sister Patricia Rootkie. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Frazier (Jason Karkoff); his granddaughters, Drew Hutmacher and Brynnlee Karkoff; his former wife Debbie Frazier; his siblings, Jean Muszynski (Mark), David Patton (Mary), Jim Patton (Barb) and Terri Bond (Greg); and his brother-in-law Ray Rootkie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Robert's family.
