He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie (Morikis); his parents, Konstantinos and Konstantina; his brother John Pappas (Bertha); and his sister-in-law Connie Kottis (Christopher).
He is survived by: his children, Connie Nicholas (Arthur), Peter Papageorgakis (Barbara), Mary Metcalfe (Paul) and Gus Papageorgakis; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Stephen, Jonathan (Rebecca), Marissa and Christos; his siblings, George Papageorgakis (Freda), Theodoros Papageorgakis (Katerina), Panagiotis, Katerina Papageorgakis and Georgia Farlekas (Elias); and his siblings-in-law, Katherine Morikis, Nick (Ethel) and George Morikis (Lucy).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Spiro's memory can be made to St. John the Forerunner Greek Orthodox Church.
