We are sad to announce that, on May 16, 2026, at the age of 79, Stephany D. Griffin of Merrillville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Stephany is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Stephany's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Griffin; and her brothers-in-law, Bernard Griffin, Tom Topolski and Jack McCarthy. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Mary Shoning of Phoenix, AZ, Julie Griffin of Merrillville, IN, Michael P. Griffin of Hobart, IN and Carl S. Griffin of Korea, HI; her sisters, Dottie Topolski, Beverly Lively and Geri McCarthy; and her niece Dawn Lively. She is also survived by 10 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
