With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia M. Romba of Merrillville, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 25, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Sulkowski and John Sulkowski; her husband Alex Romba; her sisters, Frances Lawnicki, Sue Twardowski, Caroline Kammerer and Rose Hudman; and her great grandchild James Stang.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Romba (Deborah), Sandra (late John Flatt), Michael Romba (Kim) and Gerald Romba; her grandchildren, Amanda Knoell (Max), Cari Miller (Jonathan), Misty Scheuneman (Bill), Rachael Romba, Nicole Romba, Cristopher Santacaterina, John Flatt (Shelia) and Susan Alverez (Walter); and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Olivia, Spencer, Violette, Gabriella, Hadassah, Ethan, Skyler, Hailey, Jonathan, Colton, Addison and Ryland.
