He is survived by: his wife Patricia R. Gay; his son William T. Gay (D. D. Landry) of Las Vegas, NV; his granddaughter Tracy Whorton; his great grandchildren, Billy, Rusty Cherry and Andy Thomas; and his close friend Diane Sprouse.
