Mindas Jr. of Merrillville, Indiana, born in Whiting, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Mindas; his sister Diane Gaydos; and his parents, William J. Mindas, Sr. and Olga Hjertquist. He is survived by: his sons, William Mindas III (BJ) and Raymond Mindas (RJ); his son-in-law Mykal Stickney; and his sisters, Marie Anderson, Marlene Soderlund and Wilma Mindas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Martyr's Catholic Church (801 W 73rd Ave, Merrillville, IN 46410).
