With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol Lynn Simmermeyer of Metamora, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her mother Ninah Flannery Hertel; her niece Michaele Howard; her father-in-law Jerry Simmermeyer; her aunt Marilyn Johnson; and her brother-in-law Chris Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Simmermeyer; her children, Aimee Brunemann (Brad) of Metamora, Andy Meyer (Aimee) of Brookville, Abby Kennedy (Philip) of Brookville, Josh Simmermeyer (Mallory) of Brookville and Jenna Whittington (Joel) of Metamora, Indiana; her sister Kim Campbell of Middletown, Ohio; her cousin Jeff Johnson of Brookville, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Trent, Kaitlynn, Alissa, Drew, Brady, Rylee, Kaelyn, Addyson, Reed, Khloe, Jameson, Kendall, Kase, Gunner, Abel, Ryker, Aiden and Hudson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home (1025 Franklin Ave, Brookville, IN 47012). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (145 St Michaels Blvd, Brookville, IN 47012).
