She was predeceased by: her parents, Jozef Szalajko and Irene Szalajko (Leszczynska); and her siblings, Ella Voigt, Sue Giesler, Michael Szalajko, Zeke Szalajko and Edward Szalajko.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Morefield (Joel) of La Porte, IN and Brian Edwards (Rachel) of Adams, TN; and her grandchildren, Charlotte, Eli and Henry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
