It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Ann Bennett of Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Melissa departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Melissa. Though Melissa may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Dennis Phillips; and her uncles, Michael and Aaron Phillips. She is survived by: her mother Sandra Phillips (Cavin) of Michigan City, Indiana; her child Rae Bennett of Michigan City, Indiana; and her uncle Larry Phillips (Sandy Bennett) of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
