He was predeceased by: his mother Angeline Piechnik (Schilla); his stepfather Stephen Baron; his daughters, Michelle and Maureen Meer; and his brother Stephen Baron.
He is survived by: his wife Carol K. Piechnik (Albrecht); his children, Margaret Franckowski (Darren), James Buchanan (Jennifer), Kimberly Novitske (Michael), DeAnna Munoz (Arturo) and Mandi Twining (Scott); his grandchildren, Heaven Taylor (David), James Weinig, Nicole Twining, Haley Buchanan, Gavin Buchanan, Alex Munoz, Emilio "Mio" Munoz and Camden "Shorty" Hernandez; his great grandchildren, David, Destiny, Colten, Kyleigh, Arielle, Braxton "Bo", Elliot and Grace; his siblings, Kathryn Douglas (John), Robert Piechnik (Sharon) and David Piechnik (Margaret); and his sister-in-law Maude Baron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
