He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Cripe and Peggy Cripe (Corns); and his siblings, Ted Cripe, Donna Carter, Janet Heidt and Tommy Cripe, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Donna Goodnight; his children, Deanna Lowery (Wes), Kristi Ostler (Jeff) and Ed Cripe (Erin); his sisters, Peggy Lou Bitner and Janice Reed (Robert); and his grandchildren, Dustin Ostler, Nathan Lowery, Brandon Ostler (Cassi), Courtney Kindley (Adam), Riley Cripe, Hannah Baker (Austin), Reid Cripe (Camryn), Wyatt Ostler and Ross Cripe (Caitlin). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made on Earl's behalf to the wounded warrior foundation.
