He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kania and Lillian Kania (Miller); and his wife Patricia Ann Kania (Smith). He is survived by: his children, James Kania, Cathy Edwards (Dave), Theresa Schaut (Jeff), Maria Hardy and Scott Kania; and his brother Eugene Kania. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
