She was predeceased by: her parents, Anson Chupp and Mattie Chupp (Mast); her daughters, Eva Kurtz and Joan Bontrager; and the father of her children Levi Bontrager.

She is survived by: her husband Glenn Nisly; her children, Dorothy Bontrager (Lee) of Middlebury, Ken Bontrager (Elizabeth) of Middlebury and Steve Bontrager of Middlebury; her son-in-law Tom Kurtz of Middlebury; her stepchildren, Duane Nisly (Cathy), Omar Nisly (Kim) and Donna Shafer (Jerry); and her brothers, Jake Chupp (Maranna) of Arthur, IL and Ervin Chupp (Sarah) of Shipshewana. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren.
