He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel James Sonntag and Luella Mae Sonntag (Lorenz); his son Joel James; and his sister Delrae Smolen (Sonntag). He is survived by: his wife Paula Sonntag (Dublak); his daughters, Charissa Schmidt (Scott) of Black Creek, WI, Chara Liang (Peter) of Middlebury, IN, Elizabeth Sonntag of Huntington, IN and Evangeleen Sonntag of Middlebury, IN; and his aunt Kathy Lorenz of Lansing, IL. He is also survived by two nephews, many wonderful cousins and faithful friends.
