Lotte S. Hersey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lotte S. Hersey of Middlebury, Indiana, who passed away on May 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lotte is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lotte's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Friedrich Somogyi and Ilona Somogyi (Doboczky); her husband Peter B. Hersey; her sons, Fritz and Mark Hersey; her son-in-law Peter Perkins; her grandson Brian Harrison; and her siblings, Friedrich Somogyi and Erika Kuhn.
She is survived by: her children, Nikolay Hersey (Regina) of Vienna, Austria and Hope Perkins of Middlebury. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
