Richard Dean Frey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Dean Frey of Middlebury, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollin Frey and Florence Frey (Yoder); his wife Marilyn Kay Hall; and his son Nicholas Frey. He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Frey (Jill) of Middlebury and Joshua Frey (Laura) of Columbia City; his grandchildren, Abby, Faith, Logan and Reed; and his siblings, Clifford Frey of Goshen, Barbara Bontrager (Eugene) of Middlebury and Thelma Peters (Galen) of LaGrange. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Ridge Christian Fellowship (15510 Co Rd 22, Middlebury, IN 46540). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at the Forest Grove Cemetery (11022 Co Rd 24, Middlebury, IN 46540).
Memorials may be given to Pleasant Ridge Christian Fellowship.
