It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Soon O. Harter of Middlebury, Indiana, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Soon's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Soon has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Harter; her daughters, Marilee Ritchie, Shirley Harter and Angela Harter; and her son-in-law Nicholas Brouer.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Garberick (Joe) of Middlebury, Soonja Brouer of LaGrange and James Harter of Hudson; and her friend Dorothy Garberick. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
