Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Bruce Shirey of Middletown, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 78, on June 25, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shirey and Helen Shirey (May); and his sister Barbara Redman. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Larry Benfield, Shannon Brown (Jake), Trent Benfield, Kodie Benfield, Nicholas Benfield, Sierra Benfield, Tyler Brown and Austin Brown; and his close friend Pam Lane.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller Cemetery (5954-5998 W County Rd 850 N, Middletown, IN 47356).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Middletown Public Library, the Middletown Food Pantry, or the National Cancer Society.
