She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Scott and Ruth Scott (Reynolds); her husband Eugene Hale; her brother Elvin Scott; and her granddaughter Jessica Joy Hale.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eleanor Cole, Wayne Scott, Margaret Rose and Mary Johnson; her children, Diana Boyer (Dan), Suzanne Shockley, Joe Hale (Julie) and Jeff Hale (Melanie); and her grandchildren, Michelle Boyer Burnett, Ryan Boyer, Jason Shockley, Karen Shockley Gafford, Jamie Hale Fish, Misty Hale Walker, Jaron Hale and Jay Hale. She is also survived by her 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
