She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurel "Jack" Persing and Esther Persing; her husband Bruce Phillips; her brother Thomas Persing (Petey); her grandson Gregory Phillips; and her brother-in-law Richard Powell (John Kantner).
She is survived by: her children, Laura Bratton (Carl) of Gaston, IN and Gary Phillips (Mary Gay) of New Roads, LA; her sister Susie Powell of Fairland, IN; her grandchildren, David Bratton (Lynde) of Muncie, IN, Michael Bratton (Sara) of St Joseph, MO, Virginia Brown (Steve) of New Roads, LA and Alexandra Phillips (Vince); and her great grandchildren, Riley Bratton, Cooper Bratton, Alexa Bratton, Porter Brown, Max Brown, Brooks Brown, Kaiden Miller, Andrew Bratton and Finn Bratton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
