He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Tackitt and Gladys Tackitt (White). He is survived by: his children, Bruce "Rooster" Tackitt (Kristy Clark) of Dillsboro, Jackie Tackitt (Wally) of Dillsboro, Cristy Curry (Michael) of Moores Hill, Natasha Troxell (Stephen) of Dillsboro and Heater Ewald (Ricky) of Dillsboro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in honor of Bruce to the donor's choice.
