She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Lauber and Hazel Lauber (Biddle); and her brother Gary Lauber. She is survived by: her husband Don Cottingham; her children, Terri Orem (Jim), Tim Cottingham (Cindy) of Milan, Tricia Johnson (Ed) of Osgood, Mandy Fronek (Ken) of McCordsville and Nikki Monroe (Mark) of Madison; her brother Kenny Lauber (Claudia) of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Andrew Roembke (Betsy), Lillie Fronek, Cale Kreegar, Bryce Weber, Myles Monroe and Oliver Monroe; and her great grandchild Isaiah Roembke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given in honor of Connie to Milan United Methodist Church or Milan Volunteer Fire Department.
