He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Amberger and Adele Amberger (Scheele); his wife Helen Amberger (Riehle); his daughter Lisa Amberger; his sister Alice Hausman; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Amberger, Alma Laker, Vic Hausman, Brother Ralph Riehle, Harry Laker and Dennis Schwering.
He is survived by: his children, Lola Paras (Mark) of Indianapolis and Edward "Ted" Amberger (Angie) of Milan; his brother Robert Amberger of Batesville; his grandchildren, Lauren Hagan (Maxwell), Morgan Davidson (Nicholas), Alexis Luers (Michael), Taylor King (Austin), Ean Amberger and Adele Amberger; and his great grandchildren, Lily Hagan, John Hagan, Thomas Hagan, Claire Davidson and Matthew Davidson.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home (707 S Main St, Milan, IN 47031). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Catholic Church (213 W Ripley St, Milan, IN 47031).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church or Milan Volunteer Fire Department.
