He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Robertson and Carl Robertson; and his sister Barbara Johnson (Jeannie). He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his daughters, Andrea Acus (Chris), Wendi Karle (Jon), Kathryn Robertson Hammer (Curt) and Amanda Robertson (Devon Story); his sister Margaret Neal (Neil O'Donnell); his grandchildren, Allyson, Kennady, Isabella, Gabrielle, William, Ethan, Helen and Elliott; and his great grandchildren, Ava and Carson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home (707 S Main St, Milan, IN 47031). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Knightridge Cemetery (3775 S Knightridge Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401).
Memorials may be given in honor of Bill to Wounded Warrior Project, Fisher House Foundation, or Loving Hearts Hospice & Palliative Care.
