He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Bohnstedt and Lucille Bohnstedt (Brown); his wife Carolyn Barnhart; his son Jeff Bohnstedt; and his siblings, Gene Bohnstedt, Colleen Ward and Betty Goodrich.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Hill (Gary) of Milford, Daniel Bohnstedt (Shawn) of Milford and Sharon Reed (Ben) of Greentown; his sisters, Bonnie Michael of New Jersey and Carol Thomas (Dale) of Texas; his sister-in-law Martha Bohnstedt of Churubusco; and his daughter-in-law Becky Taylor of Kentucky. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
