She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Edmund and Mary Olive Colin (Saunders); her husband Edward Simon; her son Melvin "Doug" Crecelius; and her siblings, Donald Wayne, Melvin F. Colin and Merlene Marie Henriott.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald W. Crecelius (Tina) of Corydon, Harold Glenn Crecelius of Milltown, Indiana and Janevera Rothenburger (Robert) of Shelbyville, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Angela Krucek (David), Mary Jane Cooper (Michael), Joshua G. Crecelius (Sandy), Jesse D. Crecelius, Justin Crecelius, Stephanie Tolbert (Will), Jessica Smith (Ryan), Casey Rothenburger and Raina Ross (Jim). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
