He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Irvin Mathews, Sr. and Ruby Mathews (Ray). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mathews (Flannery); his children, Michael Mathews (Melody) of Holton, IN, Susan Michael (Forrest, Jr.) of Laurel and Charity Mathews of Milroy; and his sisters, Diana Garlitch and Debra Clouse (Ronald). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
