Wilma Jean Chandler Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma Jean Chandler of Milroy, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Maple and Lenna Maple (Bruner); her husband Bill Chandler; her children, Joann Woolston and Robert Charles Dyer; and her siblings, Charlotte Thompson, Charles Maple, Don Maple and Barbara Maple.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda "Darlene" Roberts, William Ray Dyer, Brenda Kay Powers, James Michael Dyer, Betty Jean Zapfe, Phyllis Ann Bolden and Ronald Wayne Dyer; her stepchildren, Carolyn Chandler, Gail Wilder and Fred Chandler; and her siblings, Janet Schreiner (Frank), Floyd Maple (Sue) and Shirley Voegele. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.
