He was predeceased by: his father William H. Hoerstman; his son Jim Hoerstman; his brothers, James A. and Robert W. Hoerstman; his son-in-law Ted Szalewski; and his grandson David Jordan Zigon.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie VanDriessche; and his children, Ann Doyle of Elkhart, Mark Hoerstman (Angela) of Lakeville, Mary Guyer of Rancho Cucamonga, Rita Weiss (Matt) of Walkerton, Linda J. Szalewski of Mishawaka and Karen Zigon (David) of Warsaw.
